Defensive Tactics

Goal: To develop the knowledge and skills to use the minimum force necessary to make an arrest, overcome a person resisting arrest, safely and correctly apply handcuffs, perform a safe intrusive clothing search and to defend onself from an armed or unarmed attacker. To safely control suspects and maximize protection of the public and officer will be achieved.
