Firearms

Goal: To develop an understanding of the use, limitation and techniques of the service handgun, shotgun and patrol rifle. To develop the knowledge and skills in firearms safety, proper gun handling, police marksmanship, and tactics. Students will be required to fire a qualifying score to graduate from the Academy.
